Marcie Smolin is the Director and a founding member of The Actors
Circle, LLC. She began her acting career as a child actor. Marcie
has been a series regular on two TV series as well as guest starring
in numerous television shows. In addition to acting Marcie was a
stand-up comic for 13 years appearing on numerous stand-up shows including
An Evening at the Improv, Girls Night Out, Later NBC as
well as a primetime NBC comedy Special . She toured the country for
many years appearing regularly in Vegas. Marcie has also appeared
in more television commercials than she cares to count.
She received her Bachelors Degree in Theatre Arts and her Masters
Degree in screenwriting. Marcie has been coaching both children and
adults for over 17 years. Marcie first began coaching actors over
17 years ago at Center Stage LA. After leaving for several years to
work as a performer, Marcie returned to coaching 6 years ago. Many
of her current and past students are appearing as series regulars and in
feature films.
Marcie continues to work as a performer, though coaching actors is
her first love. She feels that by continuing to work as a
performer, she can bring all the current trends of the industry into her
classes.
She also currently works as a director. Her recent short films can be seen
on superdeluxe.com. SHe is currently in preproduction on three more short
films as well as a documantary.

Gayla Goehl |
Gayla Goehl maintains a high profile list of private coaching students including young budding starlet Ryan Newman (Zoom, Monster House) and Kaycee Stroh (High School Musical).
Currently she is also the Senior Associate at Gary Spatz’s “The Playground” A Young Actor’s Conservatory located in Century City. She teaches the 2nd-year Advanced On-Camera classes for children and teens as well as eight weekly classes to beginning and advanced 1st year students.
Gayla previously served as the Lead Teacher at CenterStage, LA (now operating as The Actors Circle, LLC) where she conducted classes in Advanced Scene Study, Script Analysis, Audition Preparation, Cold Reading, Improvisation, and Relaxation & Concentration Skills. While there she established, developed and taught beginning and advanced classes in Commercial Techniques and Auditioning For Pilot Season.
She also had the privilege to be a teaching consultant for Hollywood’s famous acting school Theater Arts: Hollywood. She established the school’s first ever On-Camera Beginning and On-Camera Advanced Commercial classes.
Gayla also served as casting consultant and acting coach for the independent film Song of the Sea. She also served as a casting consultant for the independent films The Pawn, A Mother’s Nightmare, Compartments and Lucid as well as on many independent shorts and student films.

Gabrielle Evans
|
Gabrielle Evans, is Executive Producer of “The Un-Invited Guests with Bill Devlin,” a new one-hour TV talk and comedy/variety show.
Evans is Founder and Owner of Wrong Way Films, LLC and serves as the company’s Executive Producer on all its projects. The production company’s tag line is: “Slower Traffic Keep Right.”
Wrong Way Films, LLC has three major films slated for 2007-2008 production starts; among them is Badfish: Story of a Punk which tells the story of Bradley Nowell, former lead singer and music extraordinaire. The film focuses on a son, father, and friend – ultimately, the story of a punk.
Evans began to make a name for her when she returned to Southern California and was working on short films, Indies, and music videos. She is well known for casting comedy, real people and beauty. She prides herself in searching the world over—using a mixture of resources from talent agents to local contacts—to cast a TV show, film, print or commercial project. “Working with renowned directors to the up-and-coming, no project is too big or too small and no stone goes unturned,” smiles Evans.
The former runway model has graced numerous magazines as an editorial model and for Playboy magazine; she appeared in Playboy’s Special Edition of the May/June “Sexy in the City.”
Evans was born and raised in Southern California, was graduated from San Pedro High School, and was a Dance and Marketing major at UCLA.

Michael Wallace |
Michael Wallace has over the last 9 years, produced 5 short films based on his own feature length scripts, in addition to completing his 14th script. He believes that his stories bring back the lost art of redemption and forgiveness. Whether it's a police detective on the chase of a killer or a son looking for his inheritance through Tom Sawyer and It's a Wonderful Life; they all contain the common thread of love and dreams. In addition to a writer he has acted in several shorts and starred in the film, LOST MISSION.
He raised all the funds necessary to produce and star in the upcoming feature film, LOST MISSION. It was a 4 week shot in Valdosta, Georgia and involved acquiring a crew from Georgia, as well as actors from both California and Georgia.
It is finished and has obtained domestic distribution by Seth Kittay at All Channel Films.
Recently, Wallace inked a 6 figure deal with James Ytuarte at VEG Entertainment for his script NORTH BY SOUTH BEND. It is now in pre-production.
While a film minor at UCLA, it was there that Mr. Wallace first gained his passion for film, acting and the pursuit of making the perfect film.
He has done everything from casting to writing, acting to producing and he loves it all. 16 hour days mean nothing to him as to him, it's not work, but joy that kicks in.
He is currently studying with the world renowned acting coach Diane Salinger, who co-starred in the film BIRD with Forest Whittaker. As well as partnering with Gabrielle Evans and Jim Fields at Wrong Way Films located in Raleigh Studios in Manhattan Beach.
He is producer and writer and is in pre-production with his script, INSTRUCTIONS FOR DANCING set for Early Spring Production. |

Anne Hulegard |
Anne Hulegard is an award winning actor, writer and director for Film, Television and Theatre. Inspired by her teachers Stella Adler and Uta Hagen, Anne has been a successful acting coach for over 16 years.
Anne has performed in hundreds of productions including: hosting Up Close talk show, KCOX 12 News, starring in The Glass Menagerie, the L.A. premiere of Prelude to a Kiss, The Heidi Chronicles, Much Ado About Nothing, A Few Good Men (with Michael Trucco), Sight Unseen (with Matthew Arkin), The NYC revival of All My Sons (with Joy Franz), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and over 200 commercials and voiceovers.
As an acclaimed director, some of her credits include the West coast premieres of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Quiet End. Anne is the founder and former artistic director of the Hermosa Playhouse where she produced shows with celebrities like Donna Dixon, Robert Hayes, Richard Kline and David Birney and directed such hits as Lost in Yonkers, It Had to be You and the Celebrity play reading series (including Tony Danza, Len Lesser and Doris Roberts).
A critically acclaimed writer; some of her plays include Greetings from South Philly and Rossetti’s Circle, her documentary Mothers in Prison was honored in Cable World magazine and her screenplay Out of Mind won a prestigious art fellowship. Dinah Kessler |
Dinah Kessler has over 30 years of experience in the acting profession. Early in her career, she worked with adult actors in commercials, voiceovers, radio, and modeling at the Abrams-Rubaloff Talent Agency. She later moved to a full range of other casting offices. As casting director at Barbara Claman, Dinah cast hundreds of actors for their roles in commercials, television shows, and movies. She then helped develop the agency’s children’s department. At Cunningham, Escott, Dipene, one of the nation’s largest talent agencies, she worked as a children’s agent for several years. Throughout her long and illustrious career, Dinah has represented countless child actors.
Dinah has been teaching acting classes to children, teens, and adults for nearly 20 years at her own studio with an office in Orange County as well as Hollywood. In her commercial acting class, called “Shining Stars Commercial Acting Workshops,” she individually video-tapes each actor. Additionally, Dinah teaches audition techniques, improvisation, cold readings, cue cards and pertinent marketing tools. Her unique program is geared at giving the actor all the necessary tools needed for a long and successful career. She receives referrals from the top, reputable agents and managers from all over California and over a dozen other states.
