Class Descriptions

Acting up!
This class is especially designed to help your "reserved" or "shy" young child gain the self-confidence to perform and speak in front of classmates, adults or onstage. We will explore acting through games, creative movement, storytelling, fairy tales, and improvisation. This is a wonderful class to build the young actor’s self esteem by helping them to trust their own unique imagination.

Acting for the Camera I
This course is designed for beginning and intermediate actors. Here they will learn On-camera Acting, Scene Study, Character Development, Improvisation Skills and basic Audition Skills.

Jumpcut To Success
This advanced class is for serious aspiring film and TV actors who already have representation and are looking to bring their craft to the next level. Instructor will work one on one with students to sharpen and polish their skills. Students will learn to recognize and hone the special talents and skills they have that will assist them to stand out in the crowd, to be remembered, and to get booked!

Improv I
Improvisation is currently one of the most popular performance art forms around. In this class you will learn how to better use your observation, concentration, and storytelling skills, learn techniques to think quickly on your feet and to be more creative. This spirited, fun course is designed for the actor or comedian who wants to learn the essentials of good scenic improvisation. Topics covered include: active listening; team building, using the environment; basic narrative skills; understanding stage status; and making your fellow actors look good.
