What is Hollywood Jumpstart?
Hollywood Jumpstart is a professional acting training and preparation studio based at Raleigh Studios in Manhattan Beach. We started five years ago as a one- day workshop for kids,teens and parents to learn what it takes to get into the business from a professional standpoint. The workshop is filled with industry professionals explaining their piece of the puzzle and offering tips for success. This is followed by a Q&A session. We provide same-day headshot photo shoots and our students get to meet and greet talent agents and personally hand them their new headshot. Our workshops lay out all the steps that a parent and child need to take to get proper training and and all the components to obtain legitimate professional representation. This one-day workshop evolved into our very popular one-week Summer Camps . Hollywood Jumpstart Summer Camps for kids and teens are designed to prepare and package aspiring actors for professional representation in acting and modeling. In addition to our workshops and Summer Camps, Hollywood Jumpstart offers year-round acting classes for kids, teens and adults, private and semi-private audition coaching and teleclasses on a variety of topics from industry specialists for parents of child actors as well as adult actors.
