About Us
Hollywood Jumpstart is an acting conservatory for all ages, located in the South Bay, where Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo meet. We offer a variety of year-round acting courses, talent agent showcases, summer camps, and special master-class workshops. Hollywood Jumpstart is the perfect next step for all students. Whether you are parents of a shy, young child looking for something to build their confidence, self-esteem, and interaction with other children, or you are a teenager who is serious about your craft and commitment to training in the arts, or you are an adult with a passion for acting who is searching for ways to expand your potential and take your training to the next level, Hollywood Jumpstart has something for you!
The company was formed in 2006 as a one-day workshop at Raleigh Studios to inform parents and aspiring young actors what steps to take to get into the professional acting industry. This one-day workshop was very successful and evolved into summer camps where students received professional training, headshots, a work permit, a resume, and auditioned for agents, all in one fun-filled week! Once the summer camps were completed, many students wanted to continue developing their skills, and Hollywood Jumpstart expanded into a year-round acting conservatory. Many of our students have been offered professional talent agency representation after presenting their monologues and headshots at our Talent Agent Showcases.
Our Goal
